& for you non photography folk (which is quite alright).. See the black human looking thing in ham bone's eye? That's me. That is a catchlight. I was going to do a close up of it..But thought maybe a creepy close dog eye wasn't my greatest decision.
The blog has been quiet lately. I have had nothing to discuss & my subjects have been far from cooperative. I need a vacation, I need landscapes, I need something monumental to photograph. If I remember correctly this time last year (when I purchased my canon rebel) I went through this same phase. Not a resentment towards my camera but a lack of inspiration. Sure, pinterest contains plenty of it but when you don't have little humans or someone to photograph it's hard. I am particularly struggling with this project. Running. out. of. ideas. But I'm hoping to power through it and continue on.
It's also funny what post processing can do. I hated this image before opening it in photoshop. I usually go through and just delete the ones I don't like (98% of the images I take). But this one I decided to have some fun with. My focus is a little off & the crop isn't my favorite..but I'm still getting the hang of this brick of a camera :)
